Status: Exempt / Full Time
Department: Human Resources Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

Description: We are seeking an experienced and versatile HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations by leading employee training initiatives, administering benefits programs, and providing comprehensive day-to-day HR support. This role requires a proactive, people-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about improving employee experience and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and skills-based training programs.
- Partner with supervisors and department leaders to assess training needs and create annual training plans.
- Manage tracking and documentation of all training activities and certifications.
- Support implementation of Individual Career Development Plans (ICDPs).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external training vendors and platforms.
- Serve as the point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and support.
- Coordinate benefit enrollment processes, including open enrollment and new hire enrollments.
- Administer group health plans, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), ESOP, and wellness programs.
- Ensure accuracy of benefit records and payroll deductions in coordination with payroll team.
- Assist in benefit plan communication and education to employees.
- Support employees and supervisors with HR-related questions, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Assist with employee relations, investigations, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support company culture initiatives, employee engagement, and internal communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong background in training coordination and employee benefits administration.
- Solid understanding of employment law, HR practices, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus.
Primarily office-based with regular interaction on the production floor. This role is based in Naples, Florida but also serves employees in Loveland, Colorado. Occasional travel will be required for training or benefits-related events. Expect to travel on a quarterly basis. This role is not eligible for remote work.
